Named by Filmmaker Magazine as one of the “25 New Faces of Independent Film,” Michael Tyburski is an award-winning filmmaker living in Brooklyn, New York, where he directs commercials, documentaries, and short films. His films have screened around the world, including at the Sundance Film Festival, where his short film, “Palimpsest," won a Special Jury Award, and at the San Sebastian Film Festival, where his film, “Brooklyn Farmer,” was selected to screen in the Culinary Zinema program in conjunction with the Berlinale. He's currently developing his first feature-length screenplay, which was selected for IFP's Emerging Storyteller's Program and the Screenwriting Lab at the Hampton’s International Film Festival, where it was a recipient of the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation’s Screenplay Award.

BEN NABORS (Writer, Producer)
Ben Nabors is a filmmaker and founder of the Brooklyn-based production company, {group theory}. His debut feature film, WILLIAM AND THE WINDMILL, a documentary about young Malawian windmill inventor William Kamkwamba, won the Grand Jury Prize at the 2013 South by Southwest Film Festival. He also co-wrote and produced the Special Jury Prize short film winner “Palimpsest,” which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2013. In 2013, Filmmaker Magazine named Ben amongst the “25 New Faces of Independent Film.” In 2014, GOOD Magazine recognized him as a “GOOD 100,” and the US State Department tapped him as a Film Envoy within the American Film Showcase ambassadorial program.

TODD BANHAZL (Director of Photography)
Todd Banhazl is a cinematographer living and working in Los Angeles and New York. He shot the fan favorite, Asian-American comedy All About Dad, and was the cinematographer on the 2010 Sundance short, “Patrol,” and the 2013 Sundance award-winning short film, “Palimpsest.” He has shot commercials for Samsung, Ford, Lexus, Target, Coca-Cola, Toyota, Microsoft, Guinness, GE, VH1, and Adult Swim as well as music videos for Lorde, Broken Bells, Carly Rae Jepson, Imagine Dragons, Death Cab for Cutie, Clipping, and Miley Cyrus.

Hailing from the United Kingdom, Matthew C. Hart edits feature films, shorts, and commercials in New York City. He was the assistant editor on Noah Baumbach’s Frances Ha as well as Baumbach's upcoming film Mistress America, and is currently cutting an original comedy series for DirecTV.

A recovering rock drummer, Matt Abeysekera writes music for the moving image in Brooklyn, New York, most recently for the upcoming Netflix series Chef's Table. More of his work can be heard on his website, Bromeliad Music.

EDDY VALLANTE (Line Producer)
Eddy Vallante is a freelance producer in New York City, where he's worked with creative production companies such as Mixtape Club, Test Pattern Media, Amalgamated Picture Co., Hayden 5 Media, James Chororos Studio, and Decoupage Productions. He's produced several short films including “Epilogue," which premiered at the 2013 Tribeca Film Festival and was featured by The Atlantic, Fast Company and Vimeo's Staff Picks. Eddy began his career in Los Angeles working in post production on the final seasons of HBO’s The Sopranos.

Alex Karpovsky is an actor and filmmaker, best known for the role of Ray Ploshansky on HBO’s Girls. His directorial work has screened at SXSW, Tribeca Film Festival, and the Los Angeles Film Festival. His acting credits include Tiny Furniture, Sleepwalk with Me, and the role of Marty Green in the Coen brother’s Inside Llewyn Davis.

DYLAN BAKER (Doctor Friedman)
Dylan Baker is an actor known for memorable supporting roles in both major studio and independent films, as well as for regular appearances in television and on stage. His film work includes Happiness, Selma, The Humbling, Revolutionary Road, Anchorman 2, and as Dr. Curt Conners in Spider-Man 2 and 3. He has received two Emmy Award nominations for his work on the CBS series The Good Wife.

ARITA TRAHAN (Acting Coach)
Arita Trahan is a Philadelphia-based actress working in film, television, and commercials. She made her feature-film debut in Alejandro González Iñárritu’s 21 Grams.

NELSON CHENG (Young Doctor)
Nelson Cheng is an actor whose credits include work on Adult Swim, Funny or Die, HBO’s The Newsroom, and in the role of Richard on Jenny Slate and Dean Fleischer-Camps’ critically acclaimed web-series, Catherine.
